But yes, the I is the 4 cyl and the S is the 6 cyl. I would recommend getting the 4 cyl FWD Touring or Grand Touring model.|||i was going to buy a tribute but it was crap because the interior of the 2008 was like joker car

How to pursue a career to become a Mazda mechanic at a dealership?
I've always liked Mazda cars ever since i saw the RX-8 and I have decided now that i want to pursue my dreams and become a Mazda mechanic. The question is, what kind of training or technical school do I need? I'm planning on going to either UTI or Wyotech, would either of these schools work for employment at a Mazda dealership? or do I need other schools to go to?

They'll be able to tell you not only what degree is required and which schools are accredited, but also what other things they look for when they hire. Not to mention, being friends with someone involved in hiring will help your chances when you actually are ready to apply.

What is the difference between the Mazda 6s and the Mazda 6i?
I am in the market for a new car and i am most definitely getting a mazda 6 i just want to know the difference between the two, horsepower-wise and interior addons.|||Mazda6i is a Mazda6 with a bodykit and nothing else and the Mazda6s has a body kit and has 220HP with a V6 engine.|||The 2006 model year brings revisions to the entire Mazda 6 line. Mild styling revisions give it a cleaner look. New front seats are designed for greater comfort and support, new cloth fabrics, a new center console, new door panels, and other features make the cabin more comfortable and more convenient. The 3.0-liter V6 offers slightly more torque for 2006, improving performance off the line and improving drivability by making the engine more tractable. Fuel economy has been improved for both engines, and the four-cylinder engine used on 2006 Mazda 6i models is available with a new five-speed automatic, replacing the old four-speed. How do you change the rear speakers on a Mazda Millenia?
So, I was wondering if anyone knows how to change out the back speakers of a Mazda Millenia? I have looked online and I came across a couple of different ways, however none of them match. I really just need to figure out how to get the back deck off. The questions that I have is do you need to take out the back seats, or just take out the bolts on the top? If anyone can give me the whole break down of getting to the back speakers, it would help a lot. Thanks everyone!|||it will be less of a hassle if you take out the back seats. that will be the best way. pull off the two side moldings then take the rear seat out. then you can easily remove the rear cover without hassle. then remove the screws that hold the speakers, unplug, plug new speakers in, (stock wiring may need to be modified) screw them into place then put everything back together. a pain in the butt but maybe it will be worth it.
How does the Mazda 6 handle in the snow?
I have a 2005 Mazda 6 that I may be driving up north. I have never driven it in the snow however I am an experienced winter driver. Should I have any concerns?|||It has front wheel drive and the engine up front so it will get better than average traction. However, the all-season tires it came with are no substitute for proper snow tires or chains. Try to avoid driving in heavy snow and ice on just those all-season tires, if possible.|||no concerns.
What are your opinions on the Mazda RX- and is it worth buying?
I'm 21 years old and is planning on buying my first vehicle..I been really interested in sports cars and coupes and so I feel in love with the Mazda RX- 2004-2009 models and was wondering if it was worth it? also what would be a reasonable down payment on a pay range of 11,944 to 18,899. I'm only interested in the Automatic transmission and if there are any mazda rx-8 drivers out there feel free to inform me on your experience with this vehicle.|||To a driver who knows how to operate a RX-8 they are worth it. As a matter of fact, nothing else will do!
Now if you want a car that does not take a lot of thinking, no it is not worth it.
Most of the problems reported with the RX8 come back to drivers who never read the owners manual on how to operate the thing.
The RX8 is a piece of exotic engineering and needs to be treated as such. No short drives, always using the hot start or cold start sequence as needed, and aways letting the engine idle down before turning the ignition off.
If you feel that these things are a pain to remember, just get a different car.|||YOU PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE ROTARY ENGINE, it injects oil on the Rotary's while they spin to keep the seal lubed. While your thinking that it's burning oil, actually it is designed to do that. Automatics and Rotary don't mix You HAVE TO redline them to clear the Carbon auto cant do it!!!
|||While the reliability issues associated with rotary engines are nothing like they used to be with the Renesis engine they do use an awful lot of oil and have to have frequent oil changes and top-ups to stay in good order, also they are nowhere near as economical as they should be with a 1.3 litre engine.
However they ARE more economical than most cars of similar performance but that may be outweighed by the cost of oil.
I would advise that there are simply better choices out there for the money that will be less hassle in the long term.
Downpayment is all relative, if you have it, put it down and your monthly repayments will be lower if you don't, put down what you can but be aware you will have higher payments, also be aware that you my only be approved at certain places with a minimum downpayment.|||just get a Rx 7 and put all the extra money into it and make it fresh fast and whatever else. way better then a 8|||Rotary engines are unreliable!

How do you tell the difference between a Mazda 3 and a Speed 3?
When the regular Mazda 3 is a hatchback, how do you set it apart from a Speed 3?|||Bonnet is little bit higher but there's no scoop.
Rear spoiler has two "spaces" between its own body and the fifth door while Mazda3 standard spoiler attaches to the fifth door across all its lenght.
I'd say the spoiler is the most visually distinctive feature. - See the "holes" - its MPS. Check out the links to the both cars' galleries.
Rear bumper is slightly different, as is the front one, wheels are bigger exhaust ending slighly larger. But these are not details you'd normaly notice when a car passes you by.|||Unless you are looking for it, there are really not too many differences. I love that the MS 3 is a 'sleeper'. People think you have a regular 3 until you hit the gas.
The MazdaSpeed has badging on the back that says "Mazdaspeed 3"
It also has more aggressive stying in the front and back, including more black plastic below the back bumper and front license plate.
MS 3 has 18" alloys and comes only with a 6 speed manual.
If you drive an MS 3, you will feel the difference.
